PATRICK F. DOYLE

Pat has been in the title business since 1995, when he started South Land. Since then, the Texan Title family of companies has grown to include other independent and local title companies, such as Brazos County Abstract (now South Land) in Bryan/College Station, Security Title in Abilene, Prominent Title in Austin, Guaranty Title (now South Land) in Navasota, Washington County Abstract in Brenham and Longhorn Title in Georgetown. In 2019, Texan Title added an underwriter, Texan Title Insurance Company, to the Texan Title family.
SHANNON DOYLE OSBORN

Shannon began her career in the title industry in 2016 after graduating from Texas Tech with a degree in Marketing. After spending her first three years with South Land as a Business Development Representatve in the Pearland and Friendswood markets, Shannon spent the next four years as Vice President of Commercial Business Development. She is a Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo volunteer and a member of both the BACREN and the Texas City/La Marque Chamber of Commerce. Shannon graduated from the TC/LM Chamber Leadership Mainland program, as well as the TLTA Land Title School. She was the youngest member of The Daily News 40 under 40 in 2019.
SHARI CURTIS-BROWN

Shari began her career in the title industry in 1987. She has experience in all types of real estate transactions, including residential, commercial and investor deals. She has the unique ability to remain calm under pressure and can always find the bright side to a situation. Shari has a “can do” attitude, strives to give the best customer service possible, and is very accommodating to her clients’ needs. In her position of Senior Vice President, Shari has responsibility for all title operations in the Gulf Coast area.
NITA PITTMAN

Nita has been in the title industry for over 35 years. She has worked various positions in the title business including abstracting, commitment and policy typist, as well as an escrow assistant. Nita joined South Land in December 1999 as an escrow officer in the Texas City office and was subsequently promoted to Branch Manager. Nita brings a wealth of title knowledge to the team and specializes in residential, new construction and commercial transactions. In addition to her duties as Vice President, she is also the Branch Manager for the Texas City office.
MELISSA CARPENTER

Melissa is a veteran of the title industry, joining the South Land family in 2004. After working in the Texas City office for seven years, she relocated to Galveston, where she was named Branch Manager in May 2011. Melissa brings a strong background in residential and commercial transactions. She has experience in every facet of the title business and particularly enjoys the commercial side. She has maintained as many as 100 files at any given time and every file is handled in the same manner – with professionalism.
SHEBETTE BOMAN
Vice President of Commercial Escrow Operations |
Shebette began her career in the title industry in 1993 and has been an escrow officer since 1998. Shebette was the Branch Manager for the company’s League City office for 14 years before moving to Compliance and Auditing in April 2016. Now Shebette closes a variety of large-scale, complex commercial transactions, such as golf courses, senior living developments, industrial warehouses and convenience stores, as well FEMA buyout programs. Shebette is a member of the Texas Land Title Association and an active member in National Charity League, Inc.-Space City Chapter.
MICHELLE OGNOWSKI

Michelle joined South Land in 2011 as the Branch Manager of the Park Ten office. With over 25 years of experience in the title insurance industry, she has closed a variety of real estate transactions. Her expertise, however, lies in volume builder accounts, and she has served some of Houston’s largest builders the past 20 years. Her Park Ten family has over 125 years of combined title insurance experience between them. Michelle strives to work diligently to ensure all transactions are handled professionally, thoroughly and with the outstanding customer service her clients have come to expect.
TINA BARRAS
Vice President of Title Plant Operations |
Tina has worked in the title industry since 1994. During that time she held the positions of receptionist, front and back office escrow assistant, escrow officer and branch manager. In May 2017, she took on the role of Title Plant Operation Manager and was promoted to Vice President in May 2018. Tina brings multiple years of experience of working both the escrow and plant sides of the title business. She specializes in locating properties using map records and Title Data, monitors the title exam flow, and maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
