Rates and Fees

The State Board of Insurance regulates the cost of a title policy. These rates depend on the face value of the title policy being issued. Premium rate card are available upon request. Certain credits may apply to specific transactions as determined by the State Board of Insurance and set forth in the Texas Title Insurance Basic Manual. Fees associated with closing a transaction in addition to the title policy includse a tax certificate, escrow fee, recording fees and messenger fees. South Land Title strives to keep fees at a minimum.
